Step into the imaginative world of preschoolers at Hello Future: Adventure Awaits, the seventh edition of Singapore Art Museum’s (SAM) signature Think! Contemporary Preschool programme.
Presented for the first time at the National Library Building, the exhibition brings together artworks by children from 24 preschools across Singapore. Inspired by visits to SAM’s Learning Gallery at Tanjong Pagar Distripark, the young artists explored themes including identity, community and the changing environment.
Guided by their teachers, the children transformed their observations and ideas into artworks through playful experimentation, unexpected materials and imaginative approaches. The exhibition invites visitors to experience contemporary art through the curiosity and creativity of young children, and to see how they observe, question and respond to the world around them.
This edition also expands SAM’s partnership with the National Institute of Early Childhood Development. Students from its Visual Art track worked alongside preschoolers and teachers in the classroom, supporting the artmaking process and gaining practical experience in facilitating visual arts learning.
