SAM’s signature Think! Contemporary Preschool programme returns for its fifth edition with the exhibition Hello Future: Building a Wonderland. On-show at the HarbourFront Centre from 17 August to 7 September 2024, the showcase features imaginative artworks by children inspired by SAM’s ongoing exhibitions at the Learning Gallery and Olafur Eliasson: Your curious journey, who have transformed everyday materials into captivating stories that highlight important themes of the environment and sustainability — offering a fresh perspective on building a greener Singapore. Partnering with eight preschools, the programme promotes learning through contemporary art, integrating school curricula with museum visits and using artworks from SAM exhibitions as teaching tools. In conjunction with the exhibition, the public can also look forward to a wide range of free and creative drop-in activities using sustainable materials presented by SAM and STABILO.
