This survey exhibition presents recent artworks and new commissions by Heman Chong, a key artist in Singapore’s art history whose multi-faceted practice dates back to the early 2000s. Characterised by acerbic wit, Chong’s art addresses contemporary geopolitics and the infrastructural ironies of our data-driven and networked society. This large-scale exhibition reconsiders canonical works from his oeuvre and is accompanied by a publication that surveys the artist’s practice, which include essays by international curators who have collaborated with him from across his career.
