In celebration of Singapore Gallery Month this September, Art District SG proudly presents Her Odyssey: Beyond the artists’ Kaleidoscope, an all-women art exhibition showcasing the works of talented female artists from Singapore, Korea, Indonesia, and China. Running from 14 to 30 September 2024, this exhibition will highlight a diverse array of traditional and contemporary artworks, united by a shared theme: the exploration of culture, and to give support to female artists who dedicated their time and energy for the art industry.
The concept behind Her Odyssey: Beyond the artists’ Kaleidoscope is to explore the artist’s journeys, both physical and metaphorical. Artworks from different cultural backgrounds, highlighting traditional and contemporary pieces that reflect the rich tapestry of global cultures. Art that depicts travel, exploration, and the pursuit of new frontiers, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own journeys. With works spanning mediums such as painting, sculpture, and mixed media, visitors will experience the nuances of each artist’s creative process and unique perspective.
