Hollis Carney Prints Auction in aid of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation

Hollis Carney, 'Queenie', Estimate $795 Singapore street art of Queen Elizabeth drinking tea from a plastic bag against a montage of old Chinese shop houses & Singapore Museum Modern Art (SAM). Iconic orchids & lotus flowers make Queenie a 'Singapore girl'. 35.28cm x 34.99cm

Digital Surrealist artist, (Fiona) Hollis Carney has donated a selection of her prints to UWCSEA and Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, to be auctioned at ‘Visions of Vietnam: Reaching Out Through The Arts’ on the 21st November. Proceeds will go towards fighting child trafficking in Vietnam.

Inspired by graffiti, architecture and nature’s designs, Fiona’s art looks beyond what we are shown, and all that is ‘pretty’. Fiona blends images of times, places and people to narrate her view of the world and cultures. The prints on auction are ‘first in run’ of limited editions, signed by the artist, and come expertly mounted and framed courtesy of Angie Mui, Director of Framing Angie. Collectively the artwork that has been donated to the event are valued at over $3,500.

Tickets: The auction is open to members of the public and tickets can be purchased subject to availability in advance by email kal@uwcsea.edu.sg or on the door. $20 per ticket includes complimentary drink and canapes. Tickets are subject to availability.
