House is a theatrical experience featuring young aspiring actors aged 7 to 17 years from ACT 3 Drama Academy’s training programme ‘SPUR’ that takes young thespians to the next level of their aspiration for the Theatre. Recreating the facets of history, this production will take place on 16 November (4pm) and 17 November 2019 (11am and 4pm) at the historical 18 Temenggong Road; a two-storey heritage bungalow.
Specially performed at 18 Temenggong Road, a beautifully preserved 100-year-old colonial ‘black and white’ bungalow tucked in the hills of Mount Faber, step back in time and relive a day in a household set in the 1920s, as ACT 3 Drama Academy’s young performers share the rich history of the landscape, its hidden secrets, history, stories and many more.
An intriguing promenade style piece of Theatre, audience will move and explore the rooms, witnessing four original site-specific 10 minute-performances that are steeped in the history of Mount Faber, Keppel Harbour, Temenggong Road and the House itself; a theatrical experience like no other!
