On 17 October 2025, Nanman Art will proudly present The Flowers of Hua Qing, a solo exhibition by contemporary Chinese artist Hua Qing.
From his earlier metaphorical language centered on the image of the “ape” to his recent explorations inspired by “flowers,” this exhibition traces the continuity and evolution of the artist’s visual vocabulary. In these works, flowers are not merely symbols of nature, but also spiritual metaphors — reflecting the extension of life, the flow of emotion, and the tenderness and strength found in the depths of humanity.
The exhibition invites viewers into a poetic garden where color and feeling intertwine. Through delicate brushwork and gentle imagery, Hua Qing offers a contemplative gaze on life and the quiet resonance of existence.
