Hyper Japanesque by 8 Artists, Co-curated by NPO Hexaproject

Hyper Japanesque assembles eight Japanese artists (YUKI HASEGAWA, SAYA IRIE, HIROKO MASUKO, KEIKO MASUMOTO, KOUICHI OKAMOTO, AKIKO OZASA, YURI SUZUKI, NAOKO YOSHIMOTO) whose works are modern interpretations of traditional art forms such as ceramics, print-making, sculpting, drawing and painting. The exhibition discusses how Japan and Singapore are hyper evolving countries with fast developing economies that have influenced the way cultures and traditions change with the times.

In conjunction with Super Japan – Japanese Festival of Arts

This exhibition is co-curated by NPO Hexaproject and POLA Orbis Holdings Inc, together with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.
