Back in its fourth year running, the IKEA Singapore’s Young Designer Award 2017 grand finals exhibition features the top five designs based on the theme “The Climate Action Challenge”.
The exhibition showcases innovative ideas and concepts from local and international students, all of which aim to help people living in Asia better cope with challenges resulting from climate change.
These include housing, water and energy solutions to help guard communities’ well-being without impacting the environment negatively through design.
The IKEA Singapore’s Young Designer Award 2017 final judging will take place during the Grand Finale on 22 September 2017. The winning team will win a $1,500 cash prize and a trip to IKEA of Sweden.
