Talk & Workshop by artist-in-residence Stephanie Lai
Come along and learn what Singapore’s climate change dystopia will look like in 100 years, developed from actual science and using realistic (for now) timelines – it looks like larger underground developments, sand stockpiling, trading in water, political offerings to the ancestors, and Singapore as a Living Laboratory.
Stephanie is a climate change educator from Australia, whose favourite thing is converting climate change science predictions into actual science fiction dystopias. She uses CSIRO climate change projection data to develop policy, work with communities on climate change adaptation, and develop realistic climate change science fiction futures.
