Impressions of Colour: Li Xiao Mei’s Solo Exhibition

Impressions of Colour features 30 landscape paintings in oil by Chinese Artist Li Xiao Mei. Li Xiao Mei’s realist-impressionistic paintings reflect the natural changing landscapes in different seasons. Scenes of sage green pasture, velvety field of flowers, tranquil lotus pond and romantic autumn slumber teem with life and passion under her lyrical brush handling.

Born in 1978 in Shaanxi, China, Li Xiao Mei has been involved in the painting and literary tradition for many years. She is a member of Shaanxi Fine Art Association and art director of Shuhan Art Academy in Hanzhong, China. Over the years, she has participated in several art exhibitions across China. This is Li Xiao Mei’s first solo exhibition in Singapore.
