Improvisation breeds confidence, stimulates the imagination and enables actors to see possibilities inherent in a scene, to create and act out situations spontaneously, and to reveal what’s happening behind the lines. Improvisation encourages actors to think and speak truthfully, avoid imitation and rigid verbal or physical patterns. Suitable for actors and non-actors, this workshop works with individuals to create thematically engaging unscripted scenes. Using a specific structure and some pre-planning/preparation beforehand, partners collaborate to create a long-form improvised scene where most of what is performed is created in the moment.
Early-bird Registration ends 14 June
Regular Workshop Registration closes 25 June
