Presented in partnership with Ethereum Singapore, In the Ether: A Festival of Quantum Science and Technology will run from 6 September to 31 October, featuring eight installations and activity stations spanning three levels across ArtScience Museum—all of which are free for visitors to experience. It brings together leading scientists, artists, technologists, and educators from Singapore and around the world, including British artist Libby Heaney, Taiwanese-British artist Yu-Chen Wang, Semiconductor artist duo Ruth Jarman and Joe Gerhardt, and ultra-contemporary artist and designer Amy Karle.
For the first time, ArtScience Museum is also presenting a Quantum Science Fair with scientific contributions from the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore, including artefacts on loan from its experimental teams, as well as Deutsches Museum in Munich, Germany, in partnership with the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology. Visitors can look forward to learning more about these scientific concepts and seeing them come alive through experiments, artefacts and interactive demos that showcase their impact in engineering and beyond.
