Didier Alarcon, a Filipino artist whose creativity runs deep in his lineage, is set to present his first international solo exhibition, In Your Eyes, at the 16th edition of the Philippine Embassy’s Art Trek in Singapore under the One East Asia Gallery. Alarcon’s artistry has culminated in this deeply personal collection that will debut on 8 November 2024, at the Filipino-owned French restaurant, Chez Suzette.
Having participated in group exhibitions from the age of 17 and making waves internationally through his participation in group exhibitions like New Wave in Singapore (2019) and Dancing with Glory in London (2023), under One East Asia, Alarcon now steps into the spotlight with a solo collection that is both striking and vulnerable. His work, known for bold and colourful elements influenced by pop culture and scenic landscapes, draws viewers into an emotional and mysterious inner world.
