The gallery’s opening exhibition presents world-class French contemporary and experimental artist Lionel Sabatté’s solo show Elemental Beings alongside artworks by aspiring home-grown talents from its non-profit c/discoveries initiative. Elemental Beings is a continuation of Mind over Matter, Sabatté first exhibition in Singapore in 2018. His latest exhibition at Cuturi Gallery pays homage to the four natural elements of Earth, Water, Air and Fire, and speaks of the close connection between Man and nature.
The dynamic juxtaposition will feature in the gallery’s main exhibition space, a purpose-built stage to democratise art appreciation. A showcase of both world-class and high-quality entry level art, it is here that connections are forged, and paths realigned to champion an overlooked movement that will bring into focus important conversations around creative expressions and art appreciation that remain critical to changing societal and cultural contexts.
