Ingenuous City

Ingenuous City is a debut solo exhibition by Singaporean artist, Ler Hock Chuan. He graduated from the Fine Art programme at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1993.

In recent years, he has travelled to many places around the world, dedicating his travels to his art. The natural landscapes, cultures, and geographies that he has encountered have nourished and enriched his practice. Now, he will present his experience through a visual culmination of more than 50 sketches, watercolours, and acrylic paintings in this solo exhibition. Ingenuous City is a manifestation of the artist-traveller’s sketchbook: a documentation of his carefree, ingenuous life.

Exhibition Opening: 28 October 2017, 6pm
