Common forms of collaboration include: multiple individuals completing a painting, followed by one person adding calligraphic inscriptions. In modern times, collaborative works can also involve multiple people completing a calligraphy piece or multiple seal carvers stamping their seals on the same piece of work.
In Inked Affinities: A Siaw-Tao Collaborative Showcase, the members were encouraged to add their marks on another member’s piece of work, designated at random. We aim to bring together various creative elements and styles, sparking intriguing new ideas.
