The Japanese Film Festival 2018 (JFF) now in its 21st edition, returns to bring the best of new Japanese cinema to the audiences in Singapore. Presented by the Japan Foundation in cooperation with Japan Creative Centre (JCC), the JFF will officiate its opening ceremony on 2nd March 2018 at the National Museum of Singapore, followed by the official screening schedule of 16 Japanese films from 2nd to 18th March 2018.
From the most acclaimed filmmakers of contemporary Japanese cinema and a collaboration with partners in Singapore, guests at the opening ceremony will also witness the exclusive premier of ‘SURVIVAL FAMILY’, by Film Director, Mr. Shinobu Yaguchi. Fans of the Japanese film landscape can look forward to the delightful cultural aspects of Japan, with genres ranging from action, romance, anime, to comedies and skits.
All films are in Japanese with English subtitles.
