French “pop street artist” Jisbar Planche has created a collection of eight original artworks in his signature street art style especially for SO/ Sofitel Singapore. Jisbar is known for drawing inspiration from visuals of the 90s, heroes of cartoons or comics and portraying them in offbeat and comical situations.
Jisbar, born in 1989, has circulated his art around Paris for 10 years. His creations update our saturated society with media and pop references, which he takes and interprets with his own universe. Fashion, music, lifestyle, the freestyle mind and other expressions found in the streets are the elements which build his style.
