Joy of the Brush VIII: The Art of Compassion

Joy of the Brush VIII: The Art of Compassion celebrates the beauty and versatility of Chinese brush painting through 128 artworks by 88 artists from Aspiration Fine Arts and invited members of Hua Quan Art Association (Taiwan). Bringing together a dynamic blend of tradition and innovation, the exhibition highlights the evolving expressions of Chinese brush painting in contemporary times.

Visitors can look forward to a diverse array of themes and techniques, spanning expressive ink compositions to vibrant colour explorations that reinterpret classical forms with fresh, modern
sensibilities. The exhibition also embodies the spirit of cultural exchange and artistic dialogue between Singapore and Taiwan. Each piece reflects the artists’ compassion and insight into nature,
humanity, and creativity, offering audiences moments of quiet reflection and joy through brush, ink, and colour.
