What has the world been doing over the last 2 years stuck at home besides working, vegetating, exercising and stuffing our faces with Tik Tok recipes? Gaming! FIFA, Overwatch, DOTA, Assassin’s Creed, why even Candy Crush! There is something about video games that sucks us in and never lets us go. The narrative, the graphics, the realism, the fantasy, the fashion, the technology, the challenge, the escape, the list goes on.
Kult Studio and Gallery have invited a variety of artists to be inspired by the genre and translate that to kick ass artwork. What you will experience is an interactive and immersive exhibition featuring artworks inspired by the gaming universe from the past, present and the future; presented in several platforms, from visual art pieces to 3D installations to interactive digital pieces. Joystick & Rage Quits! will be Kult Gallery’s first show at its new space.
