Since the 19th century, Kampong Gelam has been home to various trades and merchants. In this installation, artist Fyerool Darma will create a shophouse display in the heart of Kampong Gelam that reflects upon these place histories, in light of the district’s evolving identity as a site for tourism and heritage.
