In these two half-day sessions, kids will engage with Yeo Workshop’s upcoming exhibition Threads & Tensions – Stories from Southeast Asia as a starting point to explore how stories are told through photography and weaving. Loke Hong Seng, a renowned Singaporean photographer, tells stories of the transformation of Singapore from the 60s through to the 80s. What makes his photographs so compelling? How can we document a moment in time to tell our own stories of places and people that can captivate an audience? And beyond pictures, the works of Thai artist Santi Wangchuan, show how we can incorporate textures to convey emotions and add impact to our visual narratives. Come join us and weave your own tales!
