Lines of Influence

Clog Two, Look Mum No Computer, 2025, Coloured pencils, 29.7 cm x 42 cm

Lines of Influence is an exhibition featuring over 30 Singaporean designers and illustrators in a powerful tribute to design, community and legacy. Part of Singapore Design Week 2025, the exhibition is curated by Kiat, and will open to the public on 6 September 2025 at Art Outreach’s gallery at Gillman Barracks.

Lines of Influence marks the official launch of the JYP Creative Legacy Fund, established in memory of JunYang Pow, a young designer whose final wish was to support the next generation of creatives. The fund is a platform that offers seed funding, mentorship, and professional exposure to emerging talents. It aims to support early-career designers and illustrators to realise exhibitions and creative projects, fostering greater visibility, experimentation, and growth.

The exhibition draws its title and thematic inspiration from the unseen connections that bind generations of creatives. These “lines” represent ideas, values, and guidance out an ecosystem where mentorship and mutual support form the foundation for growth. The works on display range across disciplines and approaches, yet are united by a shared spirit of contribution to the wider community. Participating creatives have also produced new works for the show, with proceeds from sales directed toward the JYP Creative Legacy Fund.

Artists: Nur Isabella Andrews, ANTZ, Boon Baked, Beings (Has Juf), Christopher Chai, Speak Cryptic, Cybercesspool, Reza Hasni, Natasha Hassan, Jiahui (Fable), Kiat, Steve Lawler, Chris Lee, Pann Lim, Allison M Low, Kristal Melson, Felix Ng, NIC.K, Little Ong, Russell Ong, Darius Ou, Pearl, Larry Peh, PHUNK, Rizman Putra, Stacy Tan, Tell Your Children, Ink Ten, Clog Two, Whye Kee, Lydia Yang, Denise Nicole Yap, Clara Yee, Gen Yip, Zero
