The Singapore Lyric Opera is proud to present an evening of rare Baroque operatic jewels with some of the most talented local singers supported by the SLO Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Joshua Kangming Tan.
Baroque operas date back to the 16th century, the plots of which are usually based on classical Greek and Roman mythology. SLO will present a number of “kings” and “queens” in this special evening with operatic numbers from “Alcina”, “Rinaldo”, “Giulio Cesare”, “Xerxes”, “Solomon” and “Samson”.
