Prepare to get under the skin of the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival as it returns for its 13th edition with the theme Art & Skin!
Embrace, empower and express yourself through a presentation of 14 events from 9 countries. The theme Art & Skin welcomes a creative exploration and dialogue into matters of identity, beauty, intimacy, sensitivity, pleasure, pain and shame. This year’s line-up shines a spotlight on local works and artists, with participation from several international artists. The Festival line-up features five commissioned local works, five world premieres and four Asian premieres, spanning across four categories: Fringe Highlights, Live Fringe, Fresh Fringe and Fringe Activities.
The Festival also sees a new initiative Fresh Fringe, which serves as a springboard for up-and-coming artists to further their creations. Featuring works-in-progress and dramatised readings, audiences will be exposed to emerging artists’ works in development for future re-stagings.
