As Temasek Polytechnic celebrates its 35th anniversary, we spotlight Singapore’s rising design stars—bold innovators shaping the future of design and transforming the way we see the world. These talented designers, whose design journey started in the School of Design at Temasek Polytechnic are committed to exploring the transformational potential of design and pushing the boundaries of creative expression.
From sustainable furniture and culturally inspired products to fashion reflecting Singapore’s heritage, footwear blending diverse subcultures to landscape design prioritising well-being through nature – these designers demonstrate a future-forward vision, immense talent, and the desire to challenge conventional thinking. Many of the works here draw inspiration from a uniquely Singapore heritage. Some designers featured in this exhibition are household names in street culture and fashion while some have made their mark on the global stage as highly respected designers.
