Whether you have struggled with your flash, a softbox, or even a complicated multi-light system, this workshop will teach amateur and aspiring photographers how to make light work for you. Students will learn how to control light to bring their photography to the next level.
The workshop will cover natural and artificial lighting basics, and quickly expand to controlled lighting situations in and outdoors. A special emphasis will be placed on “making do” with whatever light sources you have, as well as making the most of the complex options available on most interchangeable lens cameras.
This Class is open to all intermediate to advanced photographers. As spaces are extremely limited, LASALLE may ask applicants for this workshop to submit their images as a prerequisite to acceptance.
Camera requirements: Interchangeable lens camera and a speedlight/flash. LASALLE will provide the rest of the lighting and equipment for the workshop.
