M+S is proud to present Marina One & DUO: Poetics of Convergence. Marina One and DUO are primed to be two of the newest and largest premier integrated developments in Singapore.
Jointly owned by Malaysia’s Khazanah and Singapore’s Temasek, both developments are legacy projects formed from the commercialisation of land parcels following a historic land swap deal in 2011. In celebration of our strong bilateral ties, M+S has worked with leading art gallery TAKSU to curate iconic art installations by renowned artists from both Malaysia and Singapore. These include curved walls of vividly hued wood panels, suspended hyperbolic structures and evocative kinetic installations.
At Marina One, each artwork revolves around accents of nature by drawing inspiration from its Green Heart — an open, heart-shaped biodiversity garden with over 200,000 sq. ft. of lush greenery. DUO’s sculptures offer arresting visual interpretations of the harmonious ties between Singapore and Malaysia, and the interplay of heritage and modernity in surrounding Kampong Glam.
