Metaphors Be With You (MBWY) is a curated spoken personal essay presentation held at least once a month at Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity (HCAC). They are open to anyone who submits a story that meets the MBWY Guidelines. It is free to participate.

After four editions, we’re raising the stakes, with a humdinger of a theme! The theme for the fifth edition in June 2015 will have you cringing, laughing and maybe even both: “Oh Fuck!” Moments.

The occasion will be a purge of the guilt that burdens us. Join us on the other side, the dark side. Sometimes it will be sad, sometimes funny, sometimes just plain stupid. Who the fuck cares?!

What’s an “Oh Fuck!” Moment? Well here’s what we are looking for:
– After an “Oh Fuck!” moment the world has to some degree change irrevocably.
– A embarrassing/scary moment/secret that you can admit to.
– “Oh Fuck!” moments remind us that we are not perfect beings, far from it. We’re actually all fuck ups.
