Methods of Abstraction: The Second Movement of Abstruse Visuals & Sensations – Online Exhibition

On this second screening of Methods Of Abstraction we come to witness the dawn of abstruse; abstract concepts, theories & calculations translated into explosive visuals that create resonating seismic waves.

Seismic waves levelling one’s state of being from one’s self. Each arc of abstraction is methodically yet esoterically executed in their idiosyncratic ways.

Plug in to a hyperdrive loops of abstruse visuals & sensations; leap through grains of texture & dalliances of brushes with Anjum Motiwala , landing in a sumptuous colour feast with Christine Lok whose strokes sweep us swiftly. Swiftly towards Kenny Low’s electrifying & stupefying digital, fantastical amalgamations.

Your pulse will be slowed with an injection of Mary Bernadette Lee & her painting’s as you are purposefully made to pause & muse; stuffed to the brim with a lulling warmth. 1, 2 & 3 the pace, your pulse is quickened as we flounce you away with Tiffany Yao’s figure drawings; gesturally cavorting. With surging power & exhilarating speeds we ride the magical creatures of Min Shen’s creations off & away, captured by a camera’s lens , fleeing the borders of our screens.
