If Mid-Autumn Festival (traditionally celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month) only reminds of mooncakes and lanterns, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) is set to surprise with its first ever Mid-Autumn Celebration @ SCCC on 15 September 2018 that will feature a host of family-friendly activities presented with a local twist.
Inspired by the tradition of moon gazing in the evening of Mid-Autumn Festival, SCCC will partner Science Centre Singapore to present an experiential Starry Night Planetarium Show and an astronomy exhibition at its Multi-Purpose Hall. Other exciting highlights also include an exciting mass escape activity around SCCC as visitors role-play as divine timekeepers to restore the trail of destruction wrought by Tieguai Li’s demigod son, and enchanting performances by Chamber Kakis (previously known as Ding Yi Youth Ensemble).
