Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni Association 42th Annual Art Exhibition is an exhibition by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni Association (NAFA AA), in support of its alma mater.
In addition to showcasing more than 100 alumni works, there will be talks and demonstrations for the public to participate.
26 November, 2pm to 3.30pm: Calligraphy Talk
26 November, 4pm to 5.30pm: Ink in Modern Art Demonstration by Tay Chee Toh and Sim Pang Liang
28 November, 2pm to 3.30pm: Oil Painting Talk by Low Hai Hong
28 November, 4pm to 5.30pm: Nanyang Art History Talk by Lim Poh Teck
NAFA AA’s members are active in Singapore’s art industry, and they play an important role in the promotion of Singapore art. They encourage new graduates of NAFA to join them in their efforts to upload the standards in Singapore art and to continue the legacy of the unique Nanyang art style. The 42nd annual art exhibition is also a precursor to NAFA’s 80th birthday in 2018.
