Low Hai Hong’s pastel paintings from the early part of his journey as an artist are evidence of this hard work in mastering the basics.These pastel paintings also reflect the Nanyang art style that he was learning in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, which he slowly assimilated into his own interpretation through his oil paintings.
