NTU CCA IdeasFest 2023 FOOD Eat. Secure. Sustain.

NTU Centre for Contemporary Art (NTU CCA) Singapore and the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) Global, Singapore-ETH Centre are pleased to announce the programme and participants for the third edition of the NTU CCA IdeasFest 2023 FOOD Eat. Secure. Sustain. taking place in Singapore from February 16 to 19, 2023.

Building upon NTU CCA Singapore’s long term research theme “Climates. Habitats. Environments”, this year’s NTU CCA IdeasFest with the tagline “Eat.Secure.Sustain” contemplates on the urgency of present food systems, climate awareness and solutions for a more sustainable future. As a platform that features new and ‘out-of-the box’ initiatives, NTU CCA IdeasFest 2023 FOOD Eat. Secure. Sustain. aims to explore pathways towards actionable steps to secure the future of food supplies.

Participants and interested public are invited to share and engage in cooperative projects as well as collective experiences through a summit, workshops, site visits, public installations and immersive participation. The diverse programme of NTU CCA IdeasFest 2023: FOOD Eat. Secure. Sustain. will be enriched by flash lectures of artist-led projects, start-up initiatives, scientific research as well as public dialogues on how to support Singapore’s aspiration to meet 30% of its nutritional requirements domestically by 2030 collectively and individually.
