Working behind the scenes with my trusted framers to prepare for /object, a pop-up exhibition presented by @supperhousesg and @journeyeast East, opening from 10 to 27 July at Journey East (Tan Boon Liat Building, Unit 03-02).
/object is rooted in my Double Take series, and continues my exploration of how everyday things can speak for themselves. Using contemporary cartooning as a visual language, I explore how ordinary objects can be reframed, literally and conceptually, to surface a sense of play, poetry and presence.
