Featuring interactive installations, paintings, videos, photographs and sound works, Of Other Places is the first major interdisciplinary exhibition by Singaporean artists – photographer, musician and architect Fauzy Ismail, Jeremy Less (Hell Low), See Kian Wee and Singapore-based Thai artist and photographer Juria Toramae.
Curated by Dr Wang Ruobing and conceived specifically to address the evolution of public places in Singapore – such as the old National Library, the Quarry, Singapore coastal lines and transient prayer spaces, the exhibition aims to explore the critical relationship between people and places in Singapore.
The exhibition also offers engaging programmes including dialogue sessions with artists, writers, architects, scientists, and a guided tour by Dr. Chua Ai Lin.
