Over three decades, photographer Ken Cheong has been documenting the Chinese street opera of different dialect groups in Singapore. His documentation mainly in analogue (black & white film, and film transparencies) reveal the popular photographic culture and aesthetic of the 90s, which employs pictorial formalist approach towards image creation.
