In SEX, two heterosexually married men reconsider their middle-aged gender norms, self-identity, and sexuality. In DREAMS, Johanne falls in love for the first time—with her teacher. In LOVE, her colleague’s gay cruising inspires Doctor Marianne to set off on her own quest for connection. SEX, DREAMS, and LOVE can be watched individually; their themes loosely interconnect.
