Out of Office: In Conversation with SAM Residencies captures the dynamic and collaborative nature of the processual and research-based methods which drive the work of SAM Residents. Titled Out of Office, this third edition of In Conversations with SAM Residencies is an attempt to record and reflect upon new modes of working and thinking beyond the residency studios, illuminating the dynamic and collaborative aspects of the programme. Through a showcase of objects, textual materials and media works developed by SAM residents of 2024, Out of Office brings together projects initiated and expanded upon during their time in-residence. The series In Conversations with SAM Residencies is a platform for projects which SAM residents developed while in residency, as they were in conversation with the context, residency curators and fellow residents.
