Palms Blow North

Did you know that palm trees are beginning to grow in the Swiss Alps? The unexpected sight of palms thriving far from their tropical roots sparks a deeper exploration of climate change and the shifting balance between natural and human systems.

Through installations, performances, and participatory workshops, Lau examines the palm’s symbolic richness and material generosity, reflecting on the interconnectedness of ecological and human relationships.
