PEOPLE POWER – Vintage Prints of China – brings to Tanglin Mall, Singapore, the original prints in the Revolutionary Period (1949 – 1974) by Li Hua (1907-1994), one of China’s most important artists of woodcutting artists of the 20th century.

Li Hua was known for his influence by French and German schools of art, and willing to push the boundaries of Chinese art conventions of his time. His most famous work is Roar China! made in the turbulent years of the Second Sino-Japanese War.

Also during the exhibition, dozens of ink paintings, drawings, and embroidery by contemporary Chinese artists will be shown and available for collectors to acquire.
