Luggage in tow and drink in hand, Blanche is back home. Tired of running and longing for more, she steps back into her old life, colliding with everything she once left behind. Permanence weaves in and out Blanche’s life at different points in time, following her frantic journey as she struggles to survive, fighting the dread of domesticity, the fraughtness of relationships, and the toxicity of a past that she can’t seem to shake off. Through it all, she comes face to face with herself from the past, the present and the future, with a front-row seat in seeing how a life slowly breaks across time.
Trigger Warning: Permanence depicts scenes of domestic violence and sexual assault. Viewer discretion is advised.
