Mindy Tan is a Singapore-based documentary photographer adept at capturing people in their everyday lives. Ambassador to Fujifilm, she is the first female X-Photographer in South-East Asia, speaking at Fujikina 2017 in Kyoto, Japan. She has exhibited in Cologne, Kyoto, Tokyo and Singapore.

She began her career as a newspaper journalist for migrant labour, winning the Society of Publishers Asia Award for Excellence in Human Rights Reporting in 2007, before swapping words for visuals, to be a photographer. Her assignments vary from lifestyle and documentary to sports. She has photographed the Beijing Paralympics 2008, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) conference, the Youth Olympics 2010 and WTA Championships 2015 and 2016. Editorial clients include Die Zeit, BMW, Prestige, Appetite, Her World. Commercial clients include the Singapore Tourism Board, Uniqlo, POSB Bank, Mini Cooper and Huawei.
