Now in its fourth year running, PRESSPLAY collaborates with local studios, independent artists and design collectives to offer a myriad of arts programmes from 14 Jan to 18 Mar 2017. Make something new at our artisan workshops, learn of the ongoing collaborations between our local creative community, listen to our selection of local beats, or have a better appreciation of the written word.
MAKEPLAY: artisanal workshops (e.g. Leathercraft, Risograph printing, Shibori)
AIRPLAY: local band performances (e.g. Pleasantry, ffion, sub:shaman)
WORDPLAY: literary arts (e.g. our Narrative Frames poetry x videography mentorship under Marc Nair)
#ARTISTSANONYMOUS: talks and panel discussions on selected topics (e.g. Pobber Toys & Daniel Yu for Toymakers)
LASTPLAY: closing festival at Central Public Library on 18 March 2017 from 9.30pm – 12am, offering a night of free music, giveaways, and artisanal taster craft booths.
