The dining experience, a commonplace of community for families and friends, implicitly functions as a tool as well as an object eliciting representations of quality of relationships. Our sense of community is particularly established through the significance of eating together and our local hawker centers present an unrivaled contribution.

PROJECT MEMORIES: Hawker Edition is an art based community engagement where members of the public from different generations respond to their personal memories, narratives, and interpersonal experiences with Singapore’s hawker culture.
