From 29 April to 29 May, visitors can head over to the Malay Heritage Centre to view Rainbow Connection II, a collaborative outdoor installation comprising of 500 suspended solar light modules. Rainbow Connection II’s light units are designed and individually painted by beneficiaries from social service agency Brighton Connection based on two themes: “In the Woods” and “In the Deep”. Uniting the community through creativity and art, the art piece is a portrayal of the social fabric that holds individuals together, painting a picture of solidarity amidst diversity. The installation encircles the MHC fountain with light and will travel to MacPherson estate and Somerset Youth Park later this year.
