Taking inspiration from its eclectic surroundings in Singapore’s Museum and Arts District, Hotel G Singapore is kicking off 2018 with an artistic collaboration with local artist agency Project XIV. Project XIV is the brainchild behind RCGNTN (pronounced ‘RECOGNITION’), a website dedicated purely to Singapore-based creative talent.
In a year-long collaboration, Hotel G Singapore will play host to a showcase filled with works curated by RCGNTN, in its new series of installations known as RCGNIZE. Updated every quarter, the
main entrance area of Hotel G Singapore will serve as a gallery and welcome guests to a new look each time they visit. For the first installment, works from illustrator Kristal Melson, Risograph print studio Knuckles & Notch, designer toy labels Mighty Jaxx and FLABSLAB, calligraphy maestro HEGIRA and urban artist Traseone, will be displayed at the hotel’s entrance.
