See the Telok Ayer district in a new light in this collaboration between the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and LASALLE’s BA(Hons) Arts Management students. This inaugural edition of Rediscover: Telok Ayer consists of artistic interventions that draw on the history and memories to create new encounters and uncover hidden narratives.

The team worked with four artists – comprising LASALLE lecturers, alumni and students – who took inspiration from the historical resources, former residents’ memories and the contemporary setting of Telok Ayer to create site-specific art installations. The artworks interweave the past stories of the early Hokkien and Indian Muslim settlers into the present version of the Telok Ayer District.
