Art Social is yet another new concept by gallery owner Jack Yu. After almost 30 years in the family business and cascading the local art scene with art events through brands like Dynasties Antique, Datang Fine Arts, and Goshen Art Gallery, Art Social aims to bridge the gap with marginalised artists and professional artists by offering consultancy service, training programs, and retail opportunities for those interested to market their crafts but yet to develop their know-how in the art scene.
In conjunction with the gallery’s opening, the debut show “Reminisces of Nanyang – artworks by Aw Tee Hong” showcases the uniqueness and richness of Singaporean art through the works of Aw Tee Hong. This exhibition, in conjunction with Singapore Art Week, showcases 10 of his most admirable works from a private collection and are available for sale.
